The R Scan device is typically used with the POCKET UT unit for C-Scanning and corrosion mapping applications in pipes, elbows, storage tanks, pressure vessels etc in large chemical refineries and power generation plants.
The POCKET UT offers more : It is capable of being interfaced to most manual dual axis encoded scanners. As it provides active output signals - clock and direction - it can also be interfaced to most stepper motor based dual axis scanners, immersion scanning systems and other automated data acquisition systems.
